CJ's story...
German Shepherd Dog Rescue of Northern Illinois, has a very sweet special needs girl looking for her forever home. CJ is a lovely 20 month old female German Shepherd with a plush coat to her. She is a very, very sweet little girl. She knows basic commands, is house and crate trained and she loves to play with her foster brother and sister dogs. She loves people of all sizes and ages.

CJ is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all her shots and ready to go to her new home.

CJ was diagnosed with Megaesophagus in November of 2007. This will require CJ to be on a special diet and she will need continued special care in feeding. CJ is able to eat meatball size canned dog food. CJ will always need to eat while sitting up. That is why her foster dad built a special dining chair just for CJ to eat in. She climbs right into her chair (painted with Princess CJ on it) as soon as she sees you opening her can of food and loves to eat there!

CJ is looking for that special forever home. For information on CJ, please check out our website www.gsdrni.org or contact us directly at germshep10@AOL.com. From our website you will be able to view a video of CJ.

If you would like to express an interest in adopting this pup, and before contacting her Rescue Group, please ensure that you have read and reviewed: Suggested Care Techniques @
http://www.caninemegaesophagus to learn more about the disorder. With proper care in lifestyle changes, these pups can live full, happy lives with good quality of life. You will bond more deeply than you ever could have imagined. Please contact Peg @ pegmcintyre1@aol.com with any questions. Thank you for your interest in CJ!
